Beyond Copenhagen lies a quieter Denmark.
Here, forests stretch for kilometres and lakes reflect the changing Nordic light. First, the route leaves the capital and enters the green landscapes of North Zealand. Then, quiet countryside roads lead toward forests and lakes that define the rhythm of the ride.
This five-day premium e-bike journey explores Denmark’s natural landscapes beyond the city. Along the way, you cycle through ancient woodland, ride beside calm lake shores and pass through small Danish towns where life moves a little slower.
The experience remains self-guided, yet carefully prepared. Therefore, our team provides premium smart e-bikes, curated navigation routes and carefully selected hotels along the route. In addition, luggage transfer allows you to travel light between each overnight stop.
Finally, the journey returns to Copenhagen after several days of relaxed cycling through forests, lakes and quiet countryside roads.

Itinerary
The Danish Riviera Journey – 4 Days Premium E-Bike Tour
Day 1 – Copenhagen to Furesø Lake
Distance: approx. 28 km
Leave the capital behind and cycle north through quiet suburban bike paths before entering Hareskoven forest, one of the most popular natural areas near Copenhagen.
The route continues toward the calm shores of Furesø Lake, Denmark’s deepest lake.
Overnight near Furesø.
Day 2 – Furesø to Hillerød
Distance: approx. 32 km
Today’s ride moves through open countryside and forest roads toward the historic town of Hillerød.
Arrive in a town known for its relaxed atmosphere and scenic lakes.
Overnight in Hillerød.
Day 3 – Hillerød to Tisvildeleje
Distance: approx. 38 km
Ride north through Gribskov, one of Denmark’s largest forests.
The landscape gradually opens toward the coast before reaching the charming seaside town of Tisvildeleje, known for its beaches and relaxed summer atmosphere.
Overnight in Tisvildeleje.
Day 4 – Tisvildeleje to Frederiksværk
Distance: approx. 32 km
Cycle south through Tisvilde Hegn forest before reaching Arresø Lake, the largest lake in Denmark.
Quiet countryside roads lead to the small town of Frederiksværk.
Overnight in Frederiksværk.
Day 5 – Frederiksværk to Copenhagen
Distance: approx. 38 km
The final ride follows rural roads and cycling paths south toward Copenhagen.
Return to the capital after five days exploring the forests and lakes of Zealand.
Tour ends in Copenhagen.
Accommodation
Your journey includes four nights in carefully selected 3–4★ hotels, chosen for their atmosphere, comfort and location along the route.
Typical overnight stops include Furesø Lake, Hillerød, Tisvildeleje and Frederiksværk, each offering a different perspective of the Zealand landscape — from forest lakes to seaside villages.
All accommodations include breakfast and are positioned close to the cycling route.
