As regular cyclists we wanted something more interesting than a simple city tour, and this route delivered. Quiet backroads, forest paths and lakes, plus three very different castles along the way. Our guide knew countless shortcuts and scenic viewpoints that we would never have found on our own. The pace was flexible, with plenty of coffee and bakery stops, which kept the whole group happy.
As a couple who love castles and hate logistics, this tour was perfect. The e‑bikes made the rolling countryside between Copenhagen and Frederiksborg feel effortless, and our guide handled every detail from route to restaurant bookings. Even after four days in the saddle we felt relaxed, not exhausted, and the mix of royal history, small towns and coastal views was exactly what we were hoping for.
I was a bit nervous about a multi‑day bike trip, but the e‑bikes were powerful and easy to use, and the daily distances were very manageable. Riding into Kronborg along the coast with Sweden in the background was one of the best travel moments I’ve ever had. The overnight stays were cozy and the luggage solutions meant I could just enjoy the scenery and stories about Danish kings and queens.

I usually travel by train, but this 4‑day e‑bike tour converted me to slow travel on two wheels. Gliding through villages, stopping at little harbours and then arriving directly at the castle gates felt incredibly special. The group was small and international, the guide was attentive and funny, and every evening we shared dinner recommendations and stories from the day. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
This tour is the ideal mix of comfort and adventure. The equipment was top‑notch, the briefing on day one was clear, and I always felt safe on the Danish cycle infrastructure. I really appreciated the balance between guided time and free time to explore on my own inside the castles or sit with a beer by the water. If you’re curious about Denmark beyond Copenhagen, this is an excellent way to see it.
I chose this tour as a solo traveller and immediately felt welcomed. Our guide kept an eye on everyone’s energy and adjusted the route when needed, without ever making it feel rushed. Watching the evening light on the lakes near Hillerød and then rolling into a small town for the night was magical. I finished the four days with new friends, hundreds of photos and a much deeper connection to Denmark.
