By booking a tour or using this website, you agree to the terms below.

2. Booking & Payment

  • Bookings are confirmed once full payment is received.

  • Prices are listed in DKK or EUR and include VAT where applicable.

  • Payments are processed securely through our booking system.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Customer Cancellations

  • More than 48 hours before tour: Full refund

  • 24–48 hours before tour: 50% refund

  • Less than 24 hours: No refund

  • No‑show: No refund

Company Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel tours due to:

  • Extreme weather

  • Safety concerns

  • Insurmountable operational issues

In such cases, guests will be offered:
✔ rescheduling
✔ alternative tour
✔ full refund

4. Health & Safety Requirements

Participants must:

  • Be able to ride a bicycle confidently.

  • Follow guide instructions at all times.

  • Wear provided safety equipment.

E‑bike requirements

  • Minimum height: 158 cm

  • Minimum age: 14 years

  • Maximum rider weight: 90 kg

Children options:

  • Child seats (1–5 years, max 20 kg) upon request

  • Electric cargo bikes available for children (6–14 years)

5. Liability & Personal Responsibility

Participants join tours at their own risk.

While Octopus Travel maintains high safety standards, well‑maintained equipment, and carefully planned routes:

  • Cycling involves inherent risks.

  • Participants are responsible for their own behavior and safety.

  • Octopus Travel is not liable for injuries, accidents, loss, or damage during the tour unless required by Danish law.

We strongly recommend travel insurance.

6. Equipment Use & Responsibility

Participants are responsible for:

  • Proper use of e‑bikes and equipment

  • Reporting damage immediately

  • Covering costs for damage caused by misuse or negligence

7. Weather Conditions

Tours run in most weather conditions. Denmark’s weather can change quickly, so please dress appropriately.

Tours may be rescheduled or canceled if conditions pose safety risks.

8. Photography & Media

During tours, photos and videos may be taken for marketing purposes.

If you prefer not to appear in photos, please inform the guide before the tour.

9. Website Use

All content on this website (text, photos, branding) is the property of Octopus Travel and may not be reused without permission.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes shall be resolved in Denmark.
